These terms govern your use of StoryForYou ("we," "us," "our"), a personalized children's book service operated from India.
1. Who can use StoryForYou
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place an order. By creating an account you confirm you can lawfully enter into this agreement on your own behalf.
2. Personalization & intellectual property
The original stories, illustrations, and book templates are owned by their respective authors and illustrators. When you order a personalized copy, we grant you a non-transferable license to that one personalized copy of the book — for your family's personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
You may not redistribute, resell, or commercially reproduce the personalized PDF or printed book. The underlying story and illustrations remain the property of their creators.
3. The personalized PDF
Your purchased PDF stays available in your account for your personal use. We may rotate the storage location or expire links over time, but we will notify you in advance and aim to keep purchased copies available for at least 12 months from purchase.
4. Pricing & taxes
Prices are listed in INR and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for new orders at any time; existing orders are honored at the price you paid.
5. User content
The child's name you provide is used only to render the personalized book and to address shipping. We do not use the child's name for marketing, analytics, or any purpose unrelated to fulfilling your order.
6. Account suspension & termination
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent
payment, or violate these terms. You may delete your account from
/account/profile at any time.
7. Liability
StoryForYou is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability on any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or through the account dashboard before they take effect.
